Setting Up Panasonic SIP Phones
Click2Call auto-provisions Panasonic SIP phones, including the KX-HDV, KX-UT, KX-TGP, KX-TPA and KX-HGT ranges. Panasonic's KX-NT phones only work with Panasonic phone systems, so they can't be used with Click2Call.

Step 1: open the phone's web interface
Web access is off by default on Panasonic phones. On the phone, press Menu and go to System Settings → Network Settings → Embedded Web, change it to On and press OK.
Then find the phone's address: Menu → System Settings → Status → IPv4 Settings → IP Address. Enter it in a browser on the same network, for example http://192.168.1.123. Log in as admin with the default password adminpass.
Step 2: factory reset the phone
Open the Maintenance tab, choose Reset to Defaults, click Reset to Carrier Defaults and confirm. The phone restarts with its settings wiped. Repeat step 1 to log back in.
Step 3: add the phone in the portal
- Go to Voice → Phones and click Add a new phone.
- Choose Panasonic and then your model as the Phone Type.
- Enter the phone's MAC address. It's on the back of the phone, or under Status → Network Status in the web interface.
- Choose the numbers for each account and set up any line keys. See Programming phone keys.
- Save the phone.
Copy the Standard File URL shown under Phone Type. It looks like https://panasonic.securevoip.nz/{MAC}-xxxxxxxx.cfg. The long part at the end is a private key for your account, so don't share it.
Step 4: enter the URL on the phone
In the phone's web interface, open Maintenance → Provisioning Maintenance. Paste the address into Standard File URL, replacing anything already there. You can leave the Product File and Master File URL fields as they are. Click Save and check the save is confirmed.
Step 5: restart and wait
Go to Maintenance → Restart, click Restart and confirm. The phone downloads its settings after it restarts. This can take several minutes, even after the phone looks ready.
