Group Calls and Paging
A group call rings up to 20 people at once and joins everyone who answers into one call. Paging mode turns it into an announcement: phones answer on speaker automatically and only one person talks.

We recommend setting this up on a spare extension. Otherwise every call to the number starts a group call.
Setting up a group call
- Go to Voice → Line Manager, click the extension, and choose Incoming Calls → Group Call or Page.
- Enter a Group Name and up to 20 members.
- Tick Enable Group Call for all incoming calls to this number.
- Choose a time schedule if needed, and save.
Now anyone who dials the extension starts the group call. From a phone registered to that number, you can also dial *48.
Setting up paging
Set up the group as above, then also tick:
- Paging Mode, so members' phones answer automatically on speaker, if the phone allows it.
- Mute all users on the call/page except for member 1 and the group call initiator, so only the speaker is heard. Everyone is disconnected when they hang up.
Set Member 1 to the person who makes most announcements.
Other options
| Option | What it does |
| Do not connect the group call initiator | The caller isn't joined to the call and hears "call activated" |
| Follow call flow logic for Group Member 1 only | Uses member 1's settings, for example to play a recorded message to the group |
To control who can start a group call, add a whitelist to the number under Incoming Calls → Blacklist and Whitelist Options.
