Conference Calls and Dictation
Any Click2Call number can become a conference bridge. Callers dial the number, enter a PIN if you've set one, and join the call together. We recommend using a spare extension or number for this, because every call to it goes into the conference.

Setting up a conference number
- Go to Voice → Line Manager and click the number.
- From Incoming Calls, choose Conferencing & Dictation.
- Under Select conference type, choose Audio conferencing enabled on this line.
- Set a Guest PIN and a Supervisor PIN if you want them.
- Choose whether all callers can join, or only the numbers you list (one per line, with area code).
- Save.
Recordings
Conferences are recorded by default and emailed to you as an MP3 when they end. Tick Disable conference recordings to stop this.
During the conference
| Press | To |
*1 | Mute or unmute yourself |
*2 | Lock or unlock the room |
*3 | Remove the last person who joined |
*4 / *6 | Turn the conference volume down / up |
*7 / *9 | Turn your own volume down / up |
How many people can join?
Each person uses one of your account's channels, so the limit is your channel count. See Adding channels.
Dictation
Choose Turn this number into a voice dictation recorder instead, and callers' messages are recorded for you. You can also dial *64 from your own phone to record a dictation and get the transcript by email.
