Setting Up Fanvil Phones
Click2Call sets up Fanvil desk phones for you. Add the phone in the portal, point it at our provisioning server once, and it downloads your numbers and keys automatically.

Step 1: connect the phone
Plug the handset cord into the port with the phone icon. Plug the network cable into the port marked Internet (or LAN) and into your router or switch. If your phone doesn't use a power adaptor, it needs a PoE switch. The phone shows a welcome screen once it has started.
Step 2: add the phone in the portal
- Go to Voice → Phones and click Add a new phone.
- Choose Fanvil as the manufacturer, then your model as the Phone Type.
- Enter the MAC address from the sticker on the back of the phone.
- Enter a description so you can recognise the phone. A VLAN ID is optional.
- Under Account 1, choose the phone number for the first line. Add more accounts if your model has more lines.
- Set up any line keys you want (speed dials, voicemail, pickup, BLF). See Programming phone keys.
- Save the phone. Keep the page open: it shows the provisioning settings and your Configuration File Encryption Key for the next step.
Step 3: enter the provisioning settings on the phone
Log in
On the phone, press Menu → Status and note the IPv4 address. Enter that address in a browser on the same network and log in as admin (default password admin).
Set the upgrade server
Open the Upgrade tab, set the upgrade server to fanvil.securevoip.nz and click Apply.
Set auto provisioning
Open the Auto Provision tab and enter:
| Setting | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Configuration File Encryption Key | The key shown in the portal for your account |
| Static Provisioning Server | fanvil.securevoip.nz |
| Config File Name | $mac.xml |
| Protocol Type | HTTP |
| Update Mode | Update after reboot |
Click Apply. When the page reloads, click Autoprovision Now, then restart the phone. It registers when it comes back up.
Making changes later
Edit the phone in Voice → Phones, save, then restart the phone to pick up the changes.
