Transferring Calls in the Secure VoIP App

You can pass a call to a colleague from the Secure VoIP app in two ways. A blind transfer sends the call straight through. An attended transfer lets you speak to your colleague first, so you can check they're free before handing over.

On iPhone or Android

Attended transfer

  1. During the call, tap + in the bottom right. Your caller goes on hold and the dial pad opens.
  2. Call your colleague. When they answer, you can use Swap to move between the two calls.
  3. To hand over, tap the … button in the bottom left and choose Transfer.
  4. Choose who to transfer to. The two callers are connected and you drop off the call.

On Windows (Micro Edition)

Blind transfer

  1. During the call, click the Call Transfer icon.
  2. Enter the number and click OK.

Attended transfer

First make sure Single Call Mode is turned off in Settings.

  1. Click Hold to put the first call on hold.
  2. Call your colleague.
  3. When you're ready, click Transfer → Attended Transfer and choose the other call.

Transferring from any phone

You can also dial #0 for an attended transfer or ## for a blind transfer during an incoming call. See Parking, picking up and transferring calls.
