Hunt Groups: Ringing Phones One After Another
A hunt group rings a list of phones one at a time, in the order you choose, until someone answers. Use it when calls should go to your first choice of person and then move down the list. If you want several phones to ring at once instead, use a ring group.

Setting up a hunt group
- Go to Voice → Line Manager and click the number people call.
- From Incoming Calls, choose Hunt Group.
- Tick Enable a hunt group for this number.
- Choose a Time Schedule if the group should only run at certain times, for example outside work hours.
- Set Timeout before hunting. This is how long the number rings on its own before the group starts.
- Enter up to 10 numbers. Each one rings for its own number of seconds before the call moves to the next.
- Save.
The numbers can be your own Click2Call numbers and extensions, or outside numbers such as mobiles. Click2Call numbers in the group are rung directly, without their own forwarding or voicemail settings.
If nobody answers
Tick If the call fails to connect through the hunt group then try ringing the line as normal to send unanswered calls back to the main number's usual settings, such as voicemail.
Combining with a ring group
Tick Connect to the hunt group after ringing the line and any simultaneous rings first to ring the line and its ring group first, then move through the hunt group.
