Setting Up Gigaset Cordless IP Phones
Gigaset IP cordless phones aren't in the portal's auto-provisioning list, so you set them up by hand in the base station's web page. It takes about five minutes per handset.

Before you start
In Voice → Line Manager, note the number and set a line password for it. See SIP settings for devices and PBX if you need help.
Step 1: find the base station's address
On the handset, press the control button on the right, open Settings (the spanner icon) and choose Registration. Note the IP address shown. Enter it in a browser on the same network, for example http://192.168.2.2. Log in with the default PIN 0000.
Step 2: add your number
Go to Settings → Telephony → Connections and click Edit on the connection you want to use. Enter:
| Setting | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Authentication Name | Your number as shown in Line Manager, e.g. 61370500989 |
| Authentication Password | The line password from Line Manager |
| User Name | Same as the authentication name |
| Domain | sip.click2call.com.au |
| Proxy Server Port | 5060 (or 50600 if 5060 is blocked) |
| Registration Server | sip.click2call.com.au |
| Registration Refresh Time | 180 seconds |
Click Set to save. Gigaset bases are slow to show the status. Allow 30 seconds for it to change to Registered.
