How to Set Up an After-Hours or Holiday Closure (Do Not Disturb by Date)
Going away over Christmas or a long weekend? Do Not Disturb can be limited to specific dates so callers hear your voicemail (or reach a divert number) only while you are closed, and your normal call flow resumes automatically when you are back.

Closing for Holidays, Step by Step
Open Do Not Disturb
Go to Voice → Line Manager, click your business number, and in the Incoming Calls dropdown choose Do not Disturb.
Choose what callers get
Tick Enable Do not Disturb Service. Leave the busy-tone option unticked so callers go to your voicemail, or enter a Do not Disturb Forwarding Number (for example a mobile) to divert them instead. Tick Apply DND before all other features so it overrides menus and queues.
Add your closure dates
In the dates box enter each closure as DD-MM-YYYY, or a range with a comma, and optionally times, for example 20-12-2026 17:00, 11-01-2027 09:00. One line per range. Leave the box empty only if you want DND to apply every day.
Record a holiday greeting (optional)
Dial *58 from any phone on the account to record an unavailable greeting mentioning your return date, or generate one with AI Voicemail. Remember to re-record your normal greeting when you are back.
