Keeping Calls Coming In During an Outage
Your phones need power and internet to work. If either goes down, Click2Call can still answer your calls and send them to a mobile or another number, because your phone system runs in the cloud, not in your office.

Forward calls when your phones are offline
- Go to Voice → Line Manager and click your main number.
- From Incoming Calls, choose Call Forwarding.
- Turn on Forward when Offline and enter your mobile number.
- Save.
Now, if your phones lose power or internet, callers are sent to your mobile instead of hearing nothing.
Ring a mobile at the same time
Another option is a ring group that rings your mobile along with your desk phones. Calls reach you wherever you are, whether or not the office is online.
If your own phone system (PBX) fails
If you connect your own PBX with a SIP trunk, set call forwarding on the trunk's main number the same way. If the PBX stops answering or goes offline, calls go to the numbers you've chosen. See Connecting your own PBX with a SIP trunk.
Voicemail still works
Voicemail runs in the cloud too. If nobody answers, callers can leave a message and you'll get it by email.
If calls still aren't coming through
With forwarding on, check the portal under Voice → Line Manager: a phone or app that has lost power or internet shows as Offline. Then ring your number from another phone and note what you hear: ringing, an engaged tone, a message or silence.
If it still isn't right, contact support on 1300 884 879 or at [email protected] with the number, the time of your test call and what you heard. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Queensland time, on a best-effort basis: there's no guaranteed response time and no 24/7 service, which is why setting up forwarding first matters.
