Starting a Call from a Web Link (Call Setup API)
The call setup API connects two phone numbers with a single web request. Click2Call rings the first number, and when it's answered, dials the second. It's a simple way to add click-to-call to a website, CRM or script. For webhooks, call records and AI features, see the full Developer API.

The request
Send a GET or POST request to:
https://portal.click2call.com.au/api/call.php
| Parameter | Required | What it is |
| login | Yes | The Click2Call number making the call, as shown in Line Manager. Calls are billed to this number. |
| password | Yes | That number's line password, not your portal password |
| aparty | Yes | The first number to ring, usually your own phone |
| bparty | Yes | The number to connect to once the first answers |
| delay | No | Seconds to wait before starting the call. Default is immediately. |
Example
https://portal.click2call.com.au/api/call.php?login=61370500989&password=YOUR_LINE_PASSWORD&aparty=61370500989&bparty=0412345678
Use POST in your own code so the password doesn't end up in browser history or server logs.
Responses
The API replies in JSON.
{"Result":"1","Status":"Success","Message":"Call Setup Successful"}
{"Result":"-1","Status":"Error","Message":"Password incorrect"}
Charges
Both legs are normal outgoing calls. If neither number is on your Click2Call account, you pay for both legs: the call to the first number and the call to the second.
Keep the password safe
Anyone with the line password can make calls on your account. Never put it in a public web page. Call the API from your own server instead.
