Geo Routing: Send Callers to Their Nearest Location
If your business has several locations, Geo Routing asks each caller for their address or postcode and connects them to the nearest one.
Last reviewed: October 2026
Set your locations
- Go to AI → Geo Routing.
- Under Locations, click Add location. Enter the address and postcode, an optional name, and choose where calls for that location go.
- Tick Make this the default location on one of them. It takes calls when no location can be matched.
- Click Save location. Repeat for each location.
To load many at once, click Import and choose a CSV or TSV file with a header row and the columns Address, Post Code and Number (Label is optional), up to 5 MB.
Choose the numbers and hours
- Under Routing settings, choose the incoming numbers that use Geo Routing.
- Choose the Routing hours, for example at all times or outside work hours.
- Click Save routing settings.
The greeting
Under Greeting, write what callers hear (up to 500 characters), for example “Please tell me your suburb or postcode so I can connect you to your nearest store.” Choose a voice, click Preview greeting to hear it, then Save greeting.
Good to know: Work hours and other routing hours come from the number’s time schedules.
