Block Outgoing Call Types (Call Barring)

Call Barring stops a number or extension making some kinds of outgoing call: overseas, mobiles, or everything. It is useful for a lobby phone, a shared phone, or as protection against fraud.

Set it up

  1. Go to Voice → Line Manager and click the number or extension. From the Outgoing Calls menu, choose Call Barring.
  2. Tick Enable the call Barring feature for this line.
  3. Tick at least one of the options below. Barring does nothing until one is ticked.
  4. Save.
